What anti-aliasing mode are you using in 1080p (for AMD User)
Anti-aliasing off looks bad, SMAA looks a little bit better but not perfect and TAA looks really blury. I dont know if TAA looks better in 1440p but in 1080p its really bad/blury.

So every mode sucks. Can you fix it with Reshade or other programs?

SMAA seems to be the better option

to keep things AMD, is the game supposed to look like this?

fur (all animal fur) and light shadows look awful. the 2nd pic is so bad it's distracting

yes i have the same problem with SMAA, it really looks weird. It's actually better if you play with shadow quality on low.

With TAA the fur and shadows are way better but the game is blury.

My friend has a nvidia card so he can use DLAA and its looks perfect.

I was watching people playing this game on twitch and their game look so clean compared to this, i'm really annoyed now

I run TAA, but then just use a sharpening filter through Reshade which helps remove most of the blurring/smearing problem.

SMAA destroys the performance, specially in 4K. TAA is the best compromise.

I use TAA on a 6700xt @1440, but set Sharpening in Radeon to 80.

What filter are you using? Reshade has 10 different sharpness filters. Iam trying out a few but maybe you've already found a good one

I like a tuned AMD FidelityFX/CAS. Though, Lumasharpen gives a stronger effect and might be preferable.

Do you play the game on 1080p?
I have the same problem and I'm just trying to figure how to set reshade.
what're your settings with AMD FidelityFX/CAS with TAA on and in-game sharpness off?

I'm getting ugly effects like this as well, Radeon 6500XT, 1080p. The second pic there is what I'm getting as well, hair so badly rendered it's immersion-breaking....

I don't see that much difference to be honest, for me TAA looks a bit better.

I feel like AMD has some driver customization work to do for this game.

Well not only AMD user. I am using GTX 1660 ti, it doesn't have DLAA option as well. Having exactly same issue at 1080p as I can only choose SMAA or TAA.

Right now I am using TAA together with in game Fidelity Sharpening option to get better image quality in game. This is the best way to play the game right now for me. I am also hoping there will be any better solution.

No way you see not much difference if you play at 1080p without DLAA. If you pick SMAA or disable AA the game looks so weird with all the high density pixel and edge. If you pick TAA those shadows and animal furs looks much better but the game looks blurry overall.

Best option for me so far is:

TAA + VSR to 1440p (Virtual Super Resolution) from AMD Driver.
