Glacial Launch Startup Time. Help!

When starting the game it takes an inordinate amount of time to even start the Launcher. When it does load, then pressing the play button is another full minute before the game actually launches then another 30-60 seconds before the first "Larian" launch clip even shows.

In game the game runs amazing and I can cap 144 at max settings. I never had this probably during years of Early Access. Is anyone else experiencing really slow startup times. Fairly high-end pc with 32gb DDR5 (@6200mhz) and i7 13700k. All game overlays (Steam, Nvidia) disabled.

at the very least, you can disable the launcher by adding '--skip-launcher' in the games launch options field, works fine without it

Having this exact same problem, game runs fine when I’m in it, but takes several minutes to load to main menu from hitting play.

It stopped after the previous update and launched instantly, but today's hotfix returned the issue. Task manager shows that the process stay at 0% for inordinate amounts of time before finally loading.

adding --skip-launcher in the launch options does seem to cure this slow startup problem. I'm not sure what exactly the problem is because I don't think I had this problem the first time I launched the game, but seemed to notice it sometime later.
