Be precicse about hot how many degress exactly?
Congratulations genius. You should run your own toy store.
Definitely. During EA my GPU ran at 60-63 celcius, whereas now it runs at 70-72 when outdoors, however the quality of the image generated hasn't improved in my opinion. Curious that Nvidia haven't released new drivers yet. They probably were going to release them month later, post game relese date initially provided by Larian.

Long story short: there is only so much you can do.
Some game engines are... coded unfortunate, so even if you turn down lots of settings, the demand remain high, regardless of what is to be seen on the screen or not.
Therefore the best approach is - in addition to trying basics like capping FPS, turning off shadows and blooms - ramp up your fan speed, as the default settings often cannot keep up with the game's engines bad coding.
Naturally that has not to apply to everyone due to each own personal circumstances, as environmental temperature, PC setup, etc.
What is "extremely" hot? And how are you cooling? Do you use (AIO) watercooling or only fans?
