How well would this run BG3?

Hello everyone,

I have a Ryzen 5 2600, RTX 3060ti, 16gb ram and have an SSD. I see the recommend calls for a better CPU than I have, I do have a PS5 as well and I am torn on which would be best to get BG3 for. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

im running fine on i5 10500, rtx 1660 super, 32 gb ram, and ssd you'll be more than fine

The 3060 should be plenty to run the game at a decent frame rate, and it should look awesome. I played last night through the Gale/portal scene, and running a 1660 Super at 4k, it was a bit laggy but still ok. Ryzen 7 3800X for the CPU on mine. Wouldn't worry about it unless you get well into the game and you have to dial back the settings.

I appreciate the feedback, I wasnt sure if the ryzen 5 2600 would hold me back enough to just wait for the PS5 release. Im only looking for 1080p as well.

i have a rtx2060 and i510600 and get fps drop from 75 to 10.. 12.. playing with medium settings

1080 should be fine; I played EA game on my standard HD TUF laptop, also a 1660 (Ti). Speaking of which, I played the EA game using the Vulkan option, no issues. I get to the release game, it crashes on Vulkan, and now I'm running DirectX11. (shrug)

My DL took 10.5 hours, then had to update NVIDIA drivers. Best of luck on that.

full release runs much better for me. I had to run DX11 from the start for some reason, Im upgrading pretty soon so it doesn't matter too much though
