Help... I'm being misgendered

So, I just arrived in the Druid grove, playing a manly man male bard.
First conversation after walking through the gate, the Tiefling reprimands the other guy that "THIS WOMAN JUST SAVED US"

No big deal, bugs happen, fine.

Now in the jail cell, I'M being referred to as a woman AGAIN by the goblin prisoner.

WTF, did I ♥♥♥♥ up in character creation? Is this a bug?
Do I have to start over from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beginning?!

Maybe you changed your pronoun to Female when you made your character?

Or it's possible one of your companions, such as Shadowheart, was the POV for that cutscene. Not a big fan of how that works myself but it can happen, especially in conversations that initiate after combat as it'll usually be the final positions of your characters that determines who "gets talked to".

I've noticed when I was making my character, that after switching to 'body type 2' or w/e it's called the male, from the 1, which is female, it still didn't change my sex to male. It was still female. I needed to switch it manually.
So maybe that happened to you, and you just didn't notice.

Body type, gender, voice and genitals are all seperate choices, for better or worse. Make sure you got them all where you want them, so to speak.

Damn... I'm pretty sure I set it to male but I played around with body types and faces, maybe it reset during all that...

Isn't there some way to change my gender in-game? You really should just be able to select it in the character window, since it's apparently a social construct and all, I just don't want to be misgendered for 100 hours. Welp... Guess I'll restart. AGAIN. Hooray...

I'm joking there obviously, I just don't want to be adressed as a woman when I'm playing some hunk as it's ridiculous and takes away the immersion quite a bit.

Just wanted to see if it's a known issue before I throw away 5 hours of gaming to start over.
