I can run around as a naked Orc and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious
Thanks for funding my entertainment.
I simply ask, what is the innate value in nudity in this game? What does it bring to the table, beyond cheap commercialism because sex sells. It does nothing mechanically, it isn't used in an artful or meaningful way. It's barely seen and doesn't even break any barriers in terms of what hasn't been done before. Yet here everyone is, defending it to the hilt and making grand assumptions about my character and politics, simply for posing a question. And you all think you are the morally superior parties?
I will say, that seeing the avalanche of rabid, insulting, politically motivated backlash over my simply asking an open question, speaks volumes. The assumptions people jump too, speaks far more to those making the assumptions quality, or lack there of, than it does to mine in daring to pose a question.
So by suggesting having the ESRB add LGB and LGBT+ labels for warning, you consider that promoting child abuse. Amazing.
The innate value is being mock poutraged.
As you transparently know lol.
Not everything romantic is sexual and not everything sexual is romantic so to speak, that's probably a factor that falls back into the issue of the questionable perception of sex being an "adult" theme and that romance lacking sex isn't considered mature.
Personally speaking I'm the type that prefers "romance" in storytelling to be more about a deep personal connection and mutual support rather than more driven by hormonal factors first and then having any connection come after that initial attraction, feels more like an actual connection than just cheap sex followed by an imprinting effect.
Like I said.. You could never be a lawyer. You aren't even threading a narrative much less.. I mean are you ok?
Immersion.
It's like asking "What is the innate value in character visual customization in this game? What does it bring to the table, beyond cheap commercialism because people like customizing characters and it sells? It does nothing mechanically, it isn't used in an artful or meaningful way."
You're just singling out one feature for this when tons of features could fit the same list, and ones that took far more development time and effort.
Your circular logic is failing you.
Or my personal favorite is outside of party romances, like Aveline in DA2.
But again, I know that my tastes aren't everyones lol
It's also hard to have a really good romance in this sort of setting with undefined main characters and each one being such a small part of the game, so I understand the issues.
Sure thing. I bet you walk away from the internet satisfied all the time lolololol.
I mean here you are on a video game forum defending child abuse, and that's your hill.
I mean yikes AF.
