Different Mod Versions

Hey, I was playing multiplayer yesterday with a friend and now we woke up to an update and whenever we try to resume we get an error that says "Connection Failed: Server has different mod versions", none of us has installed any mods and we both have the same version, what gives? Any fixes?

Im on steam and he's on gog.

Same here, 3 of us are in steam and one of us in GOG. The gog one cant connect

Same issue here. Looks like we're going to have to rollback the patch to the previous version of the game until this issue is resolved.

Unfortunately I just found out that it isn't possible on Steam because Larian doesn't have a beta branch available for BG3. So we just have to wait for Larian to fix it.

At least its possible on GoG (where I am, but my co-op partner is on steam)

So Ive fixed this for my GoG friend.
Steam has a patch in bg3/data called patch0_hotfix1.pak
GoG doesnt seem to have downloaded it, so I sent it to my friend he put it in his files and BAM he can now connect to our game.

it worked when the gog player startet the game just over the exe not the launcher

Yeah that file doesnt even exist in my GOG game folder, yet it did patch some 103 mb's or something.

The version number ingame is 4.1.1.3624901 - which I think is the new one (not sure).

The fact that the version number still appears in dialogue tells me they screwed the GOG patch up, or something.
