a person who protects or defends something (sorry couldn't help myself)
Just play
EDIT: The character design doesn't weigh on anything, just design something appealing and play the game. You'll figure it out as you play.
This type of reply explains nothing
Play the game.
Your character does not know them, you talk to them sometimes when you're dreaming, they claim to be protecting you and helping you, I believe they are supposed to appear you as somebody you would find trustworthy or appealing.
It's clearly not the point. If the player is making decisions about them then there must be a reason that is relevant to the player's character. Therefor that information is necessary to make a decision. Otherwise they could have just picked something rather than putting the decision on the player.
Thank you DracoMint for providing a bit more clarity.
I refuse to spoil the game for you. Design the character, and find out through playing the game.
Then don't participate in the conversation. What is wrong with you that you feel the need to reply just to say you don't want to reply?
