Are you running on DX11 or Vulkan? Try switching to the other and see if that helps. You really should not be getting that kind of FPS with that GPU.

where do i check? iam also kinda surprised with the amount of fps in this kind of game

In the Larian launcher, before you click Play. You will see directly underneath the Play button the options for DirectX 11 and Vulkan. I think it defaults to DX11, so maybe try Vulkan and see if that changes anything for you. It's what I personally play on I am getting 100+ FPS in towns and 200+ in other areas of the game.

4090 here and yea I have some minor stuttering. Knoll toll house some areas alike. It’s not terrible but it is dropping into the mid 20s for short bursts.

I just came here because I noticed this is one of the first games I've seen that has a minimum spec call out for SSD "Required" at minimum and recommended level.

In other words game be constantly streaming data from storage to memory and it's a lot of data. Drop your settings, use CrystalDiskInfo to find out how fast your SSD is. if it's not a M.2 expect 500'ish scores which these days is low. Good luck.

It's fine. You can't really get much better outside of upgrading to the 5800X3D. Not really worth it in your situation.

Similar issue, but it's intermittent, sometimes I open the game and everything runs perfectly, sometimes even the Larian intro screen lags and jitter like a video on a dialup connection and make the rest of the game unplayable, doesn't seem to be any apparent reason as to when it decides to work and when not.

rocking at 120 locked fps, i try 240 but i rather wait a couple of days before max setting.

32 mb ram.

I played for like 4 hours and no bugs or crashes.

I had awful performance but after reaching the first camp, it was unplayable. After investigating I noticed I was playing in 4K (my PC native resolution) so dropped it down to 1440p and it made a massive difference. Still not perfect but I've not messed with other settings yet. Running a GeForce 3070 and an NVME M2 drive, DX11.
