Discord crashing?

Is anyone else’s discord continuously crashing while playing this game? I’m trying to play with a buddy, but every 5min my discord crashes and I have to alt tab and reopen it. Is anyone else having this issue?

my game crashes and takes discord with it, doesn't matter if I run it with DX11 or Vulcan. Updated drivers, AMD CPU and GPU, 32GB of RAM, running off of an SSD

For anybody finding this thread when googling for this issue. Try turning off Discord's HW acceleration and Steam Overlay.

I also have noticed that when the game is in fullscreen mode, my second monitor basically freezes. The clock doesn't move, and discord doesn't update with messages. When in windowed mode, however, everything works fine. Strange bug maybe idk, but game is still a blast!

This game also crashes for me regularly, sometimes with Discord. They clearly have some bugs to sort out. I've tried several variations of things people suggest to fix it, but to no avail.

First time i launched the game, it took me 20 minutes to crash and discord completely shut down. It happened 4 times the first day and i couldn't play longer than 20/25 minutes.
I tried several things with the game, with discord and with my drivers but nothing seemed to work until today when i changed my framerate cap to 60.
I already had a similar problem with Destiny 2 so i thought it would be nice to give it a shot and i did a 3h30 session without any crash since.
My monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate and it might be the problem (it would be the 3rd game having issues with this i encounter).

For anyone having the problem of discord crashing when trying to stream it, don't stream from the banner on discord itself. Instead, go to stream your screen first, and then select the game, and it should stream fine.

No idea why this workaround works, but it does for me
