GPU CPU Fans getting extremly loud

Question in title.
As soon i start the game the fans are extremly loud.. i never experienced something like this.. as a airbus would start next to me.

i7-12700
32 GB RAM
3070 Ti

Someone with same problem?
I like the game so far but im scared that it will break my pc :)

Your fans scale with your temps, the hotter your components get, the louder the PC will be.
A well cooled PC can run a stress test with temps well under control and minimal noise.

first thing I would do is check your temps with monitoring software, if they're both in the 50/70c range, then you just have some loud fans.

if they're pushing 90/100+ you have a problem with your hardware, cap your FPS to keep it under control, and make sure your components have good air flow, clean off any dust build up, check all the fans/pumps are working.

I have the same card. It runs the fans 100% most of the time. I have not limited frames yet because I forgot. Try that. Also, I noticed in camp that the fan speed ramped down to a more quiet speed.

Same problem. It doesn't matter which video settings I choose. It doesn't matter if DX11 or Vulcan. It doesn't matter if FPS are limited or not. As soon as I start the game, my fans are going crazy.

I have the same issue on 3080 Ti. GPU temp is 60-65 Celsius, fps limit at 65, GPU load about 50%, but GPU fan goes to 100% most of time. And there is no such problem in other games, even in CP.
I set fan speed to user mode in Afterburner for now. Having the same temperature but it is quiet.

Hey guys, what I did is
- turn smoke and shadows to medium, but all the others points are high/ultra.
- also I limited FPS to 60

Now the game looks cool and my PC dont have a chance to blow up :)

i dunno about that, my RTX 3060Ti is fairly quiet w/ the occasional rev ups.

i also have my PSU fan going loud only when playing BG3 cpu and gpu is not 100% used and i can play any other game that are better graphics and i run even 4 heavy games at same time and psu fan wont go so loud exept in BG3 for some reason it easts alot more wattage seems u can measure it is weird and heard same from other people too, and yes my psu is also just 1 year old and its alot more wattage than my pc needs

I have the same issue on my new laptop i have a rtx 3050 and while the game shows me that the temp is 62, the fans are so loud im having headache. I tried to lower graphcis only leaving model and text at normal and i even put fps at 30 and it still sounds like an airplane is passing through me

Same here. Plane taking off when I start the game and it keeps that way all through the play session. I'll try the suggestions in this thread to see if it helps. (RTX3080)

get a standing fan to literally blow on your pc when playing high intensity games like this. it might sound silly, but it helps... like a lot. been doing this for 10 years now and it has greatly helped my machine function

What the hell? The optimization is very good. You're just probably used to play GPU heavy games so your CPU is not that strong which shows its limits in a game like this. If you want to try bad optimization, buy the recently released Remnant 2.

Same issue here . Much louder than usual fan noise, temps are within normal ranges though (50 degrees C for CPU package, 56 degrees for GPU). 12900k and 4090 system with 32gb ram. Playing 4K high-ultra, DLAA, vsync on in NVCP while off in game. Most of the time it runs at 4k 120fps (monitor refresh max) however is very noisy (compared to all other games with similar settings eg. Rachet and Clank, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Diablo 4, Hogwarts, Plague Tale requiem..etc). Changing from DLAA to DLSS Quality and TAA made no difference on fan noise. Tried setting an in-game framerate cap of 80fps and that did make it a little bit quieter, though still much louder than should be (and cranks up at the level-up screen). Very strange issue.

I run my arc 770's fans at 4000 rpms at all times so sounds normal to me lmao
