Servers were broken in general so we can expect some service disruption in the first two days maybe since everyone was downloading the same game at the same time, and it's a very large game in file size.
Not at all. My UK provider is totally upfront about only providing a max 40 Mbps connection. Gigabit connections are not universally available in the UK yet, it depends on where you live.
Must be outside of a city, maybe countryside? Hopefully you're not paying more than £10 for that kind of speed, even roaming mobile data would out perform that.
