Highlight interactive objects button please devs!
With the game being so graphically detailed I am surprised you can't highlight all the interactive objects at the touch of a button; considering it has been a standard feature in games for decades. Having to sweep the mouse over every object in the area is going to get tedious for most people. And annoying for those like me who suffer from bad eyesight.

The accessibility options seen very goo with the ability to change font size and put a solid black background behind it but. Plus the ability to highlight and circle characters. So I find it bemusing that you can't highlight interactive items; since you will be doing this even more than fighting.

Also, as a passing thought, I find strange that you can change the font size but not the cursor size.

Game looks amazing.

This is a feature when you use the controller. Hold down the right stick.

Left Alt

left alt key. It's not perfect, and some items are not highlighted for some reason, but it helps a lot

you can highlight containers with left Alt, but this doesn't include some of the objects sadly.

Press ALT... There are some secondary object that game doesn't highlight but all of the quest related and most lootable items and containers got the ALT treatment.

For me ^ activates a color highlight around characters and ALT shows [other] interactive objects.

I knew it the GOG version would be a good choice :steammocking:

+1. At the moment, only some containers are highlighted, not all interactive objects, which you can see when hovering over them with the cursor. It can be tested in the first room after starting the game - the corpse (a container) has a bright yellow outline upon pressing Alt, the pods do not (even if they only provide a comment from the PC).

Given the graphical fidelity, it might be more challenging to notice important objects, while making relevant interactions rely on the character's perception, rather than the player's, would improve the immersion.

I know about left alt already, BECAUSE i READ THE TOOLTIPS, but was hoping the devs would read the post and mention if they plan on putting a 'highlight all' funtion into the game. Thanks to those who gave useful responses.

This would negate the need for perception and investigation checks so no.

I wasn't talking about hidden objects or it would defeat the need of a rogue and make traps pointless smart ass. I'm talking about all the mundane interactive items. I thought that was so obvious I didn't had to actually say it.
There is a problem with left-alt. Many of us have physical limitations, and it makes some keystrokes much harder to navigate. Since I cannot reassign that to another keystroke, as far as I can tell, I'm stuck constantly clicking in and out of stealth through miss-hitting the keys. We really do need a toggle, and, further, we need to be able to reassign something like this, since not all people have the same physical functionality in control usage.

Larian thinks it's fun to pixel hunt every inch of your monitor, like you did in pixel-hunting quests of 90s era.

God this game is so outdated.
