Halsin won't join my party

He's in my camp right now since i've help him with the goblin and he told me he would like to join my group ... but then he doesn't xD
I took out Gale and now i talk to him but i don't have the dialogue to let him come in my group

Am i suppose to progress a bit more ? i'm about to leave the grove to explore further and i really need a healer that is not Shadowheart <_<

Same here. Seen a few threads on Reddit to same effect. He's in my camp but just no option to have him join the actual party.
