Yep, sound is extremly off, like you said, low bass or too much treble, expecially during dialogues.
Something odd is going on there :/
Tried all sorts of settings ingame and on my PC/WIndows settings, nothing.
Everything always just sounds kinda flat and wrong.
The audio level might be slightly low, but I don't find that to be a big problem.
Edit: going to keep it in mind and report back on any changes as it might be situational, though.
Was never set to on in my case.
So this can't be the fix.
No. The game is doing something dumb. The question is.. what. Maybe it's just right for very particular hardware, but it's absolutely not right for others.
I agree with Jupp and Dad0ne. It does sound like some cinematic sound placement is being forced on, despite the settings--though I'm not sure that would solve for the tinny voices that Dad0ne points out.
