The essential gameplay stuff is great. Lots of choices for races and classes. The customization needs more prefabs.
Amen
Perhaps, but everyone knows Bethesda's facial details are naff. However, Larian was proud of its character gen system and the EA showed they had a good system which just needed a little improvement. Instead, it seems to have been gutted.
Penises are mature and engaging, and is obviously seen more than your characters face or body.
What we have is fine, but seeing as how stuff like vitiligo, penises, vulvas and what not are here, yet basic face structures edits being omitted seems like the weirdest inclusion juxtaposition. Wonder if its the way the animations work that they didn't want abominations to be able to exist and it would break something?
I mean, i don't even think there's a face option that has a sharp chin for a bunch of races.
Or.... they could consult Linden Labs (Second Life) on how to rig facial bones to animate a 3d rendered mesh head and have customize-able faces that respond to sliders.
That being said, the one in BG3 is better than most I've seen recently.
I'm really interested in seeing how the character creator in Starfield will stack up against Fallout 4 tbh.
