Blue textures

Help. Installed the game, all the textures turned blue. Menu, introductory video is displayed as it should. But the textures themselves are all blue. This happened after installing the release version of the game. Before that everything was fine.

I got a similar issue. I initially had the game installed on my D drive and moved it to my C drive which helped reduce the amount of blue textures I've been seeing, but I do still see some. I've fiddled with all the video options in the game and only putting texture on low quality makes it go away (though that isn't really a solution). I've tried fiddling with Nividia control panel [Manage 3D settings > Program Settings] and chose Baldur's gate to try and mess with but I'm still getting a few blue textures. I'm hoping there'll be a week one patch that fixes these issues, but seeing as how few people seem to be experiencing it, I doubt we'll see that fix anytime soon.

If I figure anything out, I'll post it here, otherwise we'll just have to play with what we got.

i experience the very same Problem. Early Access, everything was ok but now almost every texture is ja blue. Did not find a solution yet but apparently same people had this issue with early access before.

I have the same trouble, looks like a obsidian, the beach looks blue and purple, if someone has any solution, welcome!

Hey guys I solved the problem, just need repair the corrupt files, you can do it if press in your library left click button on Baldur's gate III > Properties > Local Files > verify files integrity

Yea most issues people will be having will involve something with EA, For me my install got corrupted twice turns out I still had a mod in a folder I was 100% sure I deleted once I got rid of it no problem, Try what Vendetto did if that doesn't work search your PC for BG3 folder make sure to look at hidden files as well then just get rid of the BG3 folder and try a fresh install or verifiy game files after that.

you can also check the games folder for any lingering files from the ea just sort by date and time to show you anything before 8/3/2023 and then just delete them

Got this issues today after update to the latest Nivida driver.
Until now I had not such problems but the issues seems to be SLI again.
Setting in the NividaSettings unter the BG3 profile the SLI-Rednering Mode to AFR2 (Alternative Image Rendering 2) solved it for me
Hate the fact that developer and Nivida just ignore SLI nowdays and I now offical advised to "turn if off".
Forcing to upgrades to new cards which costs more thant a system in that past for melting GPU power connectors is trolling on high levels....
