Lorewise how strong is a level 12

Who could they beat? Captain America? Iron Man? Batman? Just how strong can I get in this game?

My kensai/mage from baldurs gate 2 could take on all the avengers with no problem. In baldurs gate 3 you are more of a noodle with the level cap being way lower. Cant say how powerful you are at the end, as I havn't reached that far.

a level 12 is equal to an Expert of whatever class you are level 20s are legendary masters bordering on ranging divine status even more so for magic users

I personally would perfered level 16 which is considered a master
