Hide the game version.
Whatever else can be said about the game, the fact that the game version is always there is killing the immersion. And no, Hitting F10 to hide the ENTIRE INTERFACE is not a solution.

It also doesn't help that on the bottom left there's still two icons in cutscenes.

1: When it comes to cutscenes hide ALL immersive breaking elements. Why did the devs not do this when basically most other games has?

2: Again, almost every other games don't show the game version numbers in the game itself. It tends to be on the main menu. Why would the player need to see giant floating immersive breaking numbers when playing the entire game?

My theory is that the devs overlooked hiding the numbers now that the game is in full release. Now that the game is in full release however can we get rid of the game version numbers now? It's not an early access game anymore.

Did they play test the final build. Who thought it was a good idea to keep the version number in the final release version.

they had it show the version number for 3 years, they just forgot to disable it, the devs have it on their list for first patch

It bothers you?I don’t even notice it while playing. But yes it’s better if the hide it.

If you're not above a little cheat engine, if you search for that as a string and empty it out (2 copies, one for cutscene one for gameplay most likely), it goes away without any real consequence. Played for hours with no crashes after doing that.

It's understandable in EA when they were working on the game and needed to know what version x streamer was playing on for bugs etc. but not being removable in the full release is really not on. Sort it out Larian devs. F10 to hide entire UI is not a real solution and it also hides subtitles which is a total kick in the accessibility let alone the immersion it breaks otherwise.

Yup 100% agree but I think this is just a leftover from pre launch they will remove it they just overlooked it.
Which they should not have done. But it is clearly a mistake. \

I personally hate all the immersion breaking things. I don't like OUTLINES lol they drive me nuts. The only thing I am ok with is those little circles under our feet when the characters are selected. Everything else I want gone.

I also hate the fking DICE SYSTEM. I don't want to click on dice and roll them all game. I do not want to feel like I am playing a damn board game. I liked BG1and2 where it all happened in the background.

But I will give them a little credit its nice they allow you to use spells or buffs during skill checks. I hope they have fleshed this out for the entire game.

Yeah I would agree with this too. Have it on the main menu, sure, but disable it in game and cut-scenes.
