I wouldn't lose hope if that's what you want, OP - There's VR mods being made for pancake games every so often.
What is a pancake game?
Personally I would absolutely love to have VR in BG3. Just to have my head inside the game and look around with keyboard and mouse control would be enough for me. Doesn't really need to be more than that. I want that extra immersion!
This is something that serious shops should be paying attention to, as sub-$3000 full-FOV 4k-per-eye+ headsets are now available, and an RTX 4090 can actually make them enjoyable to use. Soon the 5090 and sets in the class of the Pimax Reality 12K will be out, and with Apple pushing VR into the general population you won't be able to keep your head in the sand forever. It's here, stop ignoring it please.
