Low conversation volume in game
I have the in game volume set to max but I can barely hear it when people speak. My computer volume is set properly and I can hear videos and music easily.

Exit the game and turn off spatial audio in the volume icon on the taskbar, then load the game up again. Fixed it for me.

Yeah, turning spatial audio doesn't really seem to do much for me. Seeing how it is off by default on Win 11.. :/

Man, this sucks. The audio quality in general seems to be so much lower than in Early Access. You can't even change the "speaker configuration" option anymore, the setting is just missing now.

I'm going headphones for that true immersion. You can hear every bird chirp, the water rustling in the backgroud, it's perfect.

You can force mono audio in dialogues in sound settings. Maybe this works

Enable Dolby Access Movie settings

Sound like the usual issue with fake/virtual surround in headsets from Logitech/Razer etc.

Turn it off and force stereo on the headset and it should fix it. The mixing is not compatible with those virtual mixers.

I had zero problems in early access with the same audio devices. Something Larian did made the audio worse. It's not just the dialogue, the sound quality is just worse. Reminds me of free spotify compared to high quality youtube, it's sounds crappy like too much audio compression.

I had it off too. But I tured it on -> launched the game -> closed the game -> turned it off -> launched the game again -> it worked

Didn't work for me. It's really annoying too, kind of ruining the immersion and experience.

Shadowheart and the orc lady seem to have tinny dialog. Sounds like it's a little out of phase or some surround sound processing BS. Gail and the vampire seems fine though
