Game crashing almost every cutscene

Game keeps crashing on my PC playing multiplayer especially during cutscenes and changing locations/loadings. I looked at my task manager and some times my gpu peaks to 100% not sure if that is the problem. I put the all the game settings on low just in case and it keeps happening

I couldn't get past the "nautilus crashing" cutscene without crashing, changed to fullscreen from windowed and it solved it so far.

what gpu? maybe try lowering texture quality to save vram

That's unfortunate, game runs and looks great on my 8 year old pc, so they've done something right.

im in the same boat tbqh...its actually bugging me that im able to enjoy this game and none of my friends are able to :(

Gotta go with the usual questions and suggestions here.
What are your hardware specs? Processor, Ram, GPU
Are you running the latest drivers?
What resolution are you running at?
Are you using DLSS?
Windowed Mode or Full Screen?
How is your network/internet speed and stability?

We really need this kind of information if you are going to seek technical advice.

If you're using Vulkan, try DirectX 11 or vice-versa. Mine was crashing on one (Vulkan) after the initial cutscene and using the other helped.

I too was stuck on the first Gaurdian cut scene. Thought i'd be stuck waiting for an update. BUT set all graphics settings to Low and Lock your FrameRate at 10 FPS (in in-game settings). Got me through no problem, but I'm sure it took away from the awesomeness of the cutscene. (I also booted game in Vulcan instead of my usual DirectX, but the framerate fix could work for either)
