Human Face Selection... Only got one Face added?

I never liked the options they gave me when making a human male in terms of face selection back in early access, was hoping for atleast 3 more in later updates at the time but i brushed it aside as something they'd eventually patch for the full release of the game to have considerably more to pick from, But all they added was one extra face and there were mods that added npc faces that looked incredibly way better and stunning compared to the default base options, *Zariel*, *Mephistopheles* teiflings and *half elves* has better options,I love the general model around Head 1,2 and 5 in the Half elf race category but i'm not really a pointy eared enthusiast.

The Human's variant of selections are but of decent firmly & aged veteran like characters faces but none with the right facial proportions (excluding african like faces and the incel option), given they also have an option that remotely looked somewhat like what i'm going for but option 7 looks so flattened like paint on poorly rounded terrain when given a lighter tone.

Nobody should hate themselves so much that they'd have lackluster or poorly treated designs of the very species they are, Making an OC around us is out of pure preference, we want to explore the amazing world of Baldur's Gate with every race looking their best.

For having such creative visions for all these demihuman races i find it appalling why human males can't just look young too, I dont meen to put the devs down or anything but what is up with option 7 for males?, It's like they just pulled a clean face off of a 13 year old boy and placed it over some whack a** lack of frontal boned face then said "there you go".

They definitely should have add a lot more faces for each race given how you can't change their features.

yeah the face selection and lack of sliders is terrible for elf and half elf races too. Really frigging disappointing, I thought surely they would've addressed this since we've been asking for it for two years now.

Same for wood elves. Don't really like any of the faces we got, same faces for full release. I ended up wanting to go half-elf for a different face.

I've said this before in another thread but it is sad that games Like Skyrim, Fallout 4 and DA:I have better character customization (at least for facial structure) and they all came out well before BG3 was even a solid concept let alone started development.

My friends and I were rather disappointed with the facial options too. I'm not sure if they are limited by facial animations, but it seems like they could have put in a little more effort to make them stand apart more. I mean, a pointier chin? Thinner face, or wider? A big nose-little nose? A character that's kinda UGLY? They basically all look like variations of the same face, at least for the humans.

Tieflings got no new faces. Only one of the faces are usable.

I just don't get why they can't have a basic facial alteration system like in Bethesda games, or even in games like the Saint's Row series. I always hated the "You can only choose from these 8 faces to make your unique character" style of character creation.

I just bought it. I'm still hung up on character creation (and likely past return policy because of the time it took to make a character) because I hate the limited face choices for half the races. This is not off to a good start with me.

The only thing that really annoys me is that the Human Male face I want to use isn't available for the strong body type for some reason, no other race has missing faces between bodytypes and I doubt they'll add it anytime soon.
