WTF? Level up breaks the portraits.....

Does anyone know what this is? Portraits seem to light up after level up. Gale's hair turned white like a witcher's. Reloading the save does not help, entering the camp too, exclusion from the group is the same.

Looks like some kind of texture bleed through. I'd say upgrade your drivers.. or get a newer gpu, could be yours has overheated or it just isn't upto task.

I certainly don't get anything like this with my 6650xt

One of my characters has a permanently blacked out portrait. It's very annoying.

I'm having the same issue but my portrait is gray.

In general, I was able to improve things a little. Set shadows to high and turn on indoor shading (or something like that). BUT what I didn’t get was, let’s say, blurring of the portrait, I didn’t understand what option is responsible for this. But at least the hair is no longer white

My advice is update your drivers.
Set everything to default.
Don't change anything and it'll work perfectly fine. Mess around with stuff, you'll break it.

I personally have already updated the drivers, but I can’t play with the default settings, by default the ultra sets me to 20 fps

I'm getting this, too. I have the latest drivers, but Astarian's portrait on the left is now grayed out/very darkened and won't return to normal... Weird...

shadowheart's hair is purple and Laezals is red. Same with my black hair

Luckily I havent come across this glitch yet but I have been making sure to save before every level up just in case, So far I have leveled up 4 characters and all of them still have normal portraits

I am playing the Dx11 version afaik

I'm hopeful this gets fixed tomorrow. thats really my only issue rn

it also happened when I started up a new character. His pure black hair appears red in the Nautaloid
