Extra Skill Proficiency as Human - How??

So I decided to roll a Human Warlock. Judging from what I've read that was likely a mistake, but oh well. I figured the extra weight and extra skill proficiency couldn't hurt. (I'm not sure the decision to remove ability scores from races was a good one. Suddenly race doesn't seem very relevant.)

Anyway, here's the thing:
I haven't found anywhere to actually choose the extra skill I'm proficient in - or at least nothing that showed I was picking an extra proficiency.
Did I just completely miss that on one of the character creation tabs?

Same here, started as human monk and beside of the looks all i could change was the attributs, dex from 17 to 16 and wisdom from 12 to 15. Nothing else, no skills no feats. Are feats like blind fighting or weapon finesse removed from D&D now?

It doesn’t seem to work when using the controller menu. It works just fine on mouse and keyboard. As nothing I try seems to be working.

It's poorly done, but on the panel where you distribute your abilities, there the list of skills just down the block. You need to click on the skills to open the skill mastery panel.

This is also something I don't understand, the character creation in D&D games in nothing new, be it baldur's gate, nwn etc. They all follow the same process and it works and is clear. I don't understand why Larian tries to reinvent the wheel on this one.

To add to Drake's reply, on the 'Ability Points ' panel, click on the 'Change' button at the bottom in the Skill proficiences pane. Another panel opens up where you can re-allocate proficiencies. Normally there is only one column with a crossed sword/axe at the top. If you are creating a human char an additional column appears with a human head at the top and 1/1 beneath it, it picks a skill for you to start (survival in my case). Change it here if you want.
