Bardic inspiration only in ability checks?

Prety sure Bardic inspiration should work on attacks as well. Is it because we don't actually roll in this game and so they didn't program it?
Just want to make sure that is the case and not the case of my using it wrong lol

Its not a reaction so you would have to use a bonus action to "give" the inspiration to someone. Then they can use it on what have you , during combat. In conversations, it doesn't matter, so its done as an add on for convenience when rolling.

I was having issues with reactions as well until I got to the Mari fight in the first dungeon. It seems like as soon as the reactions tutorial pops up it starts to work properly. For instance it asks you if you would like to react etc.

It's a bug, like mikec4500 i had this bug until i got to Mari fight, at this point I can use bardic inspiration for attack roles

ANd when does the Mari fight happen tho?

Becuase I am already at the Tiefling camp and I don't think I met thie Mari person yet. Did I miss it?
