Yeah, second-person gendered pronouns thankfully aren't a thing

If I were to design a language I'd get rid of gendered pronouns entirely. I see no point in segregation in language. Might as well have pronouns for nationality, skin color, hair color, like why? Instead of every person dictating their pronouns to you we just use one set of pronouns for all humans, it could be so simple
That would be an actual compromise, with logical arguments for and against.

However, we never see the pronoun crowd asking for this, showing that they don't actually want equality, they want to be special and different.

Your comment is idiotic, in the real world there is male and there is female, calling male a she, is criminal so is otherwise around.
Everything else outside of the real world he/she is woke puke,
The fact you can change the pronouns is already woke woke puke, you chose a male, your a male, you chose a female your a female.
Not complicated.
The majority shouldn't bow down to 1%
Acceptance isn't to bow down, it's just to show some common courtesy and respect for your fellow humans.

Also, my feminine male Dragonborn doesn't care what you think. The fact I could create a proper femboy dragon tops any argument against it :D
Seeing you can do this convinced me to buy the game when I can, cheers!

you can do crazy things in there lol

I think that confusion pretty much sums up the state of western civilization at this point.
Nah. The game's advanced AI just figured out who you truly are inside, sister.

If someone looks like a Tim but they are a Derek, are you "bowing down" to the <1% of the population named Tim? Using a person's preferred pronoun is just as easy as using their name. Not complicated.
Because names don't mean anything, while pronouns do?

There are no identifiers that define someone as a "Tim", while we've had a pretty good understanding of the difference between male and female for tens of thousands of years.

If pronouns have no implicit meaning, then why do some people want different ones?

Yes, as a society we tend to default to the pronoun that matches a person's apparent biology, but my point is that if someone would rather be referred to as a he when they look like a she, why not?

If my name is William but I prefer to go by Bill, a polite person will call me Bill. If I introduce myself as "Bill, pronouns he/him", a polite person will call me Bill and refer to me as "him" later when telling their friends about the new person they met today. Maybe I look like a woman, maybe I don't, but I have informed that person what I would like to be referred to as a him.

I think it's funny that in this thread, people are upset they are being called a "she" when they have made a male character, and in the same breath they want to call someone else by whatever pronounce THEY feel is appropriate/default. "I am a man and I'm being called "she, and that make me mad. That person looks like a man, and wants to be called "she" and that also makes me mad." It's hilarious.

It truly is hilarious. I am convinced this all mass mental illness on display.

The madness of crowds written by a gay man I might add... Explains this phenomenon quite well.

I dunno, but I think it's rather important to classify male and female as different. Identity is paramount for a healthy individual. However, ever since transgender became popular, this has become a conundrum.

Do know though that Dragonborn has no boobs. (Which is why they make perfect femboys imo)

See, that's kind of the problem. You have decided that this is "polite", whereas I view it as "being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥". If someone introduces themselves by telling me their pronouns, my reaction is to roll my eyes.

Words have definitions. If you're not a man, then by asking for "he/him" pronouns, you are asking someone to pretend that you're something you're not, because that's what those pronouns mean. If you say they actually mean a "societal structure", then you're trying to change what those words mean.

If someone introduced themselves and told me "I'm a wolf, my pronouns are fe/fir", I would have the same reaction, and I imagine most people would. Would that be "impolite" to not go along with what this individual wants?

It brings up the entirely valid question of how the hell everyone in the world knows what pronouns to use for you.

How does some random NPC know that this very obviously male individual is actually a woman?
Magic
