UI scaling Please !!!!!

I see we can increase font sizes in a couple of places, but please just allow us to scale the whole thing. There are lots of things to hove your mouse over, and lots of things on the map and skill bar etc that my old eyes would like bigger.

We need to also reduce the font sizes. They are insanely huge for dialogue on my 4K monitor (which is usually the opposite).

if you use a controller which I tried out to see how it felt, text and stuff gets enlarged. Which I personally hate, so ye wish they just had options. I think on 1440p the text and stuff is fine in this game.

What bothers me the most is how they go on and on and on and on and on about how they want to emphasize inclusivity in this game, and then you find out that inclusivity does not apply to vision impaired people. And it's not like we're a tiny minority.

But it's a common thing. Many games don't give you any UI scaling options. And in many games, you have to edit some config files to tinker with font size options where the developers did not expect any tinkering - so you end up with text that goes beyond the text boxes, goes beyond the edges of the screen or wraps in the weirdest ways.

UI scaling is not so terribly difficult to implement. It's not that the developers can't. They just don't want to.

Not to get too "anti-woke" but I called this back in Gamergate on 8chan (back when Wheels ran the show.) The best we crips get is used as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shield so journalists can ♥♥♥♥♥ about how every Fromsoft game needs an easy mode. I made a very angry video about this very thing.

I'm to this day still angry at Steve Saylor for selling us out like he did and I had to retire from active accessibility advocacy due to my declining health. New goal's to beat BG3 at least once before I die.

Calls himself the blind gamer when the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s eyes (PLURAL) are better than my one. He's got 20/200 and can sit on a couch. I've got 20/400 in one and I have to be nose-touching to see anything. Plus he's just a weak little man. A TON of advocates are like that perpetually on twitter, asking devs for impossible demands and literally (in Steve's case) crying on camera. Have a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ self respect!

At least when i was Blind Ryan, it was a prison nickname (I retired it after 20 years as is custom.)

I see there is a 10% bigger than the standard of your mod, could there be one even bigger or could you tell us how to adapt it ourselves ?

The cursor is ridiculously small on a 4k monitor. So stupid that I can alter all kinds of settings but I can't change the cursor size. Feel like getting a refund until they change this. Makes the game impossible to play.

Cursor size in-game appears to be tied to your computer's cursor size settings. My eyes are awful, so I have my cursor on my PC set to pretty huge, and the cursor in-game is almost comically huge. I almost wish I could scare down the cursor in-game because it's so large it covers up some of the text on items I scroll over.

Just wanted to boost this post and echo the NEED for UI scaling in-game. I really appreciate folks who make mods, but as other folks here have rightfully stated, UI scaling is not impossible to implement natively.

I love this game. My Optic Nerve Hypoplasia does not. I end every session with a headache. I would love to play this more, but the tiny UI is a real barrier. Please, devs! I appreciate the ability to adjust some font sizes, but the UI itself needs scaling options.

Larian, for the love of The Great Old One, please add UI Scaling because this ♥♥♥♥'s unreadable on smaller devices. There's literally no excuse to NOT have UI Scaling in a cRPG, or any modern game for that matter.

There is a version 10% enlarged relative to the standard version of the mod, not the standard font of the game. The fonts of mod, themselves are 40% and 50% larger then standard font size game.

Just a question. Where should I copy the .pak file? In which dir? There is no "Mods" directory in the local files of the game.

Weird i also use 1440p and i feel it's all too small, but then again it goes to show that UI scaling options should always be part of basic UI design.

It's a great, great game but this really hinders the enjoyment.
I want to read the books, all the lore but everything just costs effort and causes strain to my eyes.

Thanks to the mod mentioned here it is better but still not enough in my case.
