You're welcome.
Dualsense controller. Nothing else plugged in. Tried both bluetooth and direct with cable.
Turned "Steam input for playstation controllers" on and off as well, and I still get XBOX icons..
Any other suggestions? :(
/edit
I installed it on my laptop to see if it does it there, and funny enough, it works right out of the box via bluetooth and shows Playstation prompts.
Something on my desktop is causing it.. I'm not running any third party controller programs, though..
Using a PS5 Dualsense controller I can still only get Playstation prompts by unchecking ALL the "steam input for X controllers" buttons. However, when I get those prompts I lose the force feedback vibration in the controller. When rechecked even if it's just the Playstation box the prompts revert back to Xbox controller prompts, but the vibrations are back. Also I have been able to use the controller both plugged in and via blutooth and both ways yields the same results.
Using an Xbox 360 controller with the ALL boxes checked everything works great, wired and wireless, have the correct prompts. Also have vibration functions working fine also.
I think I will use the Xbox controller for now since I enjoy the force feedback in the game (makes the dice rolls feel powerful like they have weight behind them) until Larian fixes the vibration issue with Playstation controller. Hopefully by the time of the PS5 release it will be better and also take full advantage of it's haptic feedback.
