Lae'zel just died, should i restart?

I found her after the crash, she was taken prisoner by two tieflings, the tieflings did not seem evil but when i tried to convince them to let her go they opened the cage and i had to fight either Lae'zel or the tieflings.

Lae'zel is dead now because i could not bring myself to kill them but I think Lae'zel is a important character and havin her die feels like im missing out on stuff in the future.. maybe i should try to live with my decision and the consequences but oof idk..

anyone has some advice for a player completely new to all DnD

she is a party member with story stuff. but the game will go on without her. not a big lose imo. I think she is one of the least popular companions. next to wyll.

Did they remove having revive scrolls at the start in the full release? If not, you could use those.

You don't need her - there are plenty of other characters you can use instead.

But if you wanted her in your party instead of the others, maybe restarting isn't a bad idea.

She is in my party currently, but I'm probably going to swap her out as soon as she has helped me along the path to remove the mind parasite somewhat. Because I find her to be insufferable compared to everyone else, and that's saying a lot.

i don't like her really much but she seems like an interesting character i have no idea what to do

I would say let things happen. It will make your choices matter more and for future replays it will be more fun to try other outcomes.

i got some of those rolls but i can't use them on here maybe bc story killed her?
