Splitscreen mode on 2 screens?

We've tried the splitscreen mode but so far its a little buggy and it seems like the over all view is very small since the screens apparently also do not merge if we are close to eachother. Any Ideas if they will add an option to play on 2 seperate screens in the local coop mode?

Can you share some steps on how to use family share for split screen? I've tried before but I haven't been able to.

Add your friend as family in steam settings
Connect with your steam account on your friend PC
Download the game
Switch back to his account
Click "Steam" on the top left corner and click "Go Offline"
Now if there is still a Purchase button, just go into the Baldur's Gate 3 folder and click on the Launcher.

This is just so you can both have an instance of the game so you wont need SPLIT SCREEN

If you want SPLIT SCREEN, you need to go into character creation mode and connect a controller.

and youre good to go
