Unable to Save
I followed Larian's recommendation and deleted my old AppData/Local/Larian Studios folder and uninstalled the game and did a fresh install before starting.

The game is always saying that it's unable to save because it's currently syncing.

I tried turning off Steam Cloud, and Cross-save, then relaunched the game.
I also tried relogging int o the launcher.

Nothing is working.
Does anyone know any ways to fix this so I can save my game?

Larian servers are hosed right now with a much higher player count than they anticipated at one time, so the Cross Platform Save servers can't keep up right now with ~500k players uploading saves at once

If you never plan on playing the game on another console and will only be playing on PC, you can shut off Cross Platform saves in the gameplay settings

With this setting on you are uploading all your saves to Larians servers so you can continue progress on another platform, which prevents you from saving or loading until the upload is finished.

If you disable the setting you never have to wait on Larian for your saves to be written to your PC, and you can always turn the setting back on later when things have settled down if you want to continue on other platforms

Same here. 3 hrs gone. Even did multiple long rests which are supposed to trigger game saves. The game is stuck in a "syncing" phase when I look into why it isn't saving/allowing me to try to manual save.

I already tried this and relaunched the game but sadly it did not fix the issue.

Delete "Larian" Folder in AppData > Local
Disable Steam Cloud Save
Verify Game Files
Load Game
DO NOT Activate Cross Save

I already tried all of that. I am trying a fresh reinstall now.

Maybe if I never activate cross save it'll work.

Same Problem. Solution was very strange. I cant save with Direct X 11 but with Vulcan...

I tried 2 reinstalls, on the first one I left cloud save one then did not enable cross save. On this install I was not able to save even if I turned off cloud save and relaunched.

On my 2nd reinstall, I turned off Steam Cloud Save before launching the game, and made sure to not enable cross save after launch.

I am now able to save.
