Ranger no heavy armor, despite tooltip saying so (Ranger Knight)
Ok, I thought I had this figured, there is a special subtype of Ranger, called "Ranger Knight", the tooltip still says I gain Heavy Armor prof, but the character has not.

So, was this removed, if yes, the Ranger Knight has NO meaning. Will this come at a level up`, or just a bug?

AND if a bug: will I have to restart my Ranger, so better wait and not play? Of if fixed, will it be in?

Your starting character always starts with same armor, based off class, no matter if their choices give them other options. It sucks, but its been like that since day 1 of EA.

You don't understand. Ranger Knight says in the description it gives me the PROFICIENCY to wear heavy armour, but in my character sheet I do NOT. That would mean the Ranger Knight would have NO boni at all, unlike the passives you can select from.

EDIT: Ok, you DO apparently get the Heavy Armour proficiency, but it doesn't show in character generation in the list of proficiencies, just in this "Ranger Knight" bonus. Could be a bit more clear, but ... all that ends well is ... not as well as it could.

It does not show up when selecting class, but your character WILL have the proficiency.

Im new to all of this, but if I take ranger knight (Im in act 2) do I still take the dex mod hit/dex cap from wearing heavy armor? Or is the point of getting this that I dont have any penalty to heavy armor anymore?

Yah but heavy armor is Garbo on a ranger unless maybe you’re running a STRanger
