Can we safely play it now on MacOS via GeForce now?

Larian say the following in the last post about final release:

*”Baldur’s Gate 3 will release on September 6th on PS5 (September 3rd for owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition). We’re also targeting* ***September 6 for Mac*** *(via Steam, GOG,* ***GeForce NOW****) — to be confirmed. Additional platforms TBD.”*

I do not understand why GeForce Now is in the sentence above, which seems to say that even on GeForce Now Macs’ users will have to wait until September 6. I’ve tried few minutes ago and I could launch BG3 from GeForce Now on my MacBook Pro with M1 and it started even if there was some warning on the launcher.

Is it safe to play it on GeForce now if we own it on Steam on a Mac before Sept. 6 or will we risk to have issues on save games etc then when it is finally released…? Who knows… I‘d like to play it before September, which is also not 100% confirmed for MacOS, but I do not want to have to start it from the beginning due to issues with saves…

I have a mac and a geforce now account. Both are in early access mode. I really cannot understand why I cannot play the full game over geforce now.

I’ve played 108 hours the complete edition via GeForce now ultimate on my Mac, it’s very strange what you say, since GeForce now plays the windows version which is no more in EA. MacOS full version will be out at the end of the month with Patch 3
