Like they have it so if you pause the version of the game goes away, but when you unpause to the game, it pops up. Then gets bigger in cutscenes so its less immersive if you notice it.
Then they dont have a sensitivity option for camera pan with the keyboard. And just other minor qol things that are not a big deal but all together it gets annoying.
Im fine with small text, usually I make my UI smaller than the default in most games.
There is a hidden option. Plug in a gamepad. The UI scales up for everything.
I only messed with it a little bit, but it seemed OK. Basic kind of action wheel interface you're probably used to from other games.
I guess they either wait for mods or plug in a controller. I'm just happy I'm gonna get to play, I thought I would have to wait for mods, but the controller UI is decent. KBM UI was way too tiny to read. Would still be nice if it were customizable, but at least it's a playable size font.
Since they obviously do have the ability to scale the UI, as shown by the fact that the game pad UI is actually readable, there is some hope for KBM users I guess? Maybe it was just one of those things that got pushed back for launch. Given the amount of complaints I suspect they will address it.
