Save editor to correct stats?

I love Larian, but the s***ty new way of assigning stats is BS. Gonna roll up my character in an actual D&D way in Solasta and overwrite..

EDIT -i already used Solasta to create my character and then used CH to modify my character in BG3 to reflect it.

Point buy (what BG3 uses) *is* the official way to do stuff nowadays. I wish there was a rolling option as well, but point buy has been the standard for years now if you want balance.

I go way back before the woke idiots at wotc got a hold of D&D and this is just another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision by them that I've already worked around. But according to you we shouldn't play half elves now either since they think it's racist and officially are getting rid of them. shrug. I'll pass on stupid ♥♥♥♥.

take a D20 in real life.
Go to point buy.
Roll the die, put the number it rolls into STR.
Repeat for all the other stats.

By the rules of D&D, a 1 INT character can't speak, and can only barely tell friend from for. It's not a playable character.

that only sort of what happened. it was kinda weird that you could only be half human-half other.

in the dnd enhanced or whatever they calling the new project, character creation is much more modualr. So you can combine any races you want. you can still be half elf, just now you can be half elf, half dragonborn or even half goliath half gnome theoretically. Have fun explaining that to your DM tho.

People who are loudly wrong love their little quippy phrases, huh? "WotC said half elves are racist!" is so much easier to say than "Theyre changing the way your species works cause the old half elf method was comparatively restricted". Plus then you get to whine about wokeness, which we all know is very real and material.
