1. Start new singleplayer game with 1 controller.
2. During character creation, second player presses buttons on his controller (don't know which buttons, I think its A, we just slammed all of them)
3. Screen splits and both can select a PC.
When we look on options page for inputs, it' says that the down arrow of D-Pad should force/unforce splitscreen but it's not working at all...
If you find a solution please tell us ! :)
yep. the same issue, guys. maybe devs will fix it soon. i hope so
I found a temporary solution, but you need two screens and a quite a good PC.
Active Nvida Surround via Nvida control Panel selecting your 2 screens.
When launching BG3 it will take all your two screens, then load your save and connect the second player coop. There will be one screen for each player.
It's breaking some cinematics but it's way more comfortable. Beware : the game will run on 4K to support the resolution of the two screens !
This is complete nonsense. There's no merged splitscreen in any way or form...
Thank you very much <3 #1 reason I still did not play this game with my wife.
