How do you pick subclass?

Cannot find the option on the character selection screen for the life of me.

Not all classes pick their subclass at level 1. Some pick at level 2, 3 at the latest.

If there IS a subclass (like for cleric, for example), you will see it appear on the left as an option to click.

also if you pick a subclass I don`t think your character can get get the max lvl
