just try to think of people who have real problems out there, who are suffering from homelessness and addictions, that puts things in perspective.
Sometimes that may help. For me personally if my problem is neurological that would just make me feel worse. The idea being, why do I feel like I do when some many people have it worse? Kind of promotes guilt for feeling bad.

I really know how you feel mate. Ive had that happen before and nothing felt enjoyable. Not much else to offer rather than your not alone.

Sometimes we get "to giddy" to finally do something.
When it is available.. a sense of exhaustion can kick in. Sleep it over and you'll be fine.

Sounds like Chronic Depression, which cannot be resolved with games or temporary good eats. It requires a soul-seeking meditation and therapy (or long term self-reflection).

If you don't get a grip on your sense of self, you forfeit control over your life.

Herein lies the reason why some people seek to have a fulfilling life from the earliest possible moment, with the least regrets, because they learned it from someone else's regrets or suffering.

And as human beings you can't tackle everything alone.

Be aware why you feel such a way and then reflect on it, reflect on all possibilities until you get tired of reflecting, which at that point you make a commitment to "act" than to think.

You can't help or save everyone though, some people's attitude will be so stubborn that your attempts will do more harm than good.

That's good to hear.

I'll drop some of my own dumb shot-in-the-dark advice here too, hopefully you don't even need it...

Get some sun now and then when you can. Not too much, certainly not unto a burn, but just once in awhile, like ten minutes (or even 5 if you're fair-skinned). I know, skin cancer. But it helps your body generate Vitamin D3, which if you don't have enough, can cause depression.

Alternatively, there are some artificial perhaps-near-equivalents. There's a reason they have those light boxes![www.mayoclinic.org]

Good advice. Eating well and not depriving yourself of the Macros in your diet help as well. Our bodies do weird things when they don't get what they want.

I hope you feel better soon no matter what the reason. But remember: the game is not running away from you. You can just play it in a year, for example, when you're hopefully feeling better.

TBF I'm a dnd enjoyer, tablegame enjoyer and divinity lover. Larian did an horrible job. There is absolutely nothing to enjoy about BG3. It's a braindead save and load game. No learning curve, no challenge, no itemization. Just absolute dogass combat all over the place.
I'm here to enjoy my time, for the story. There's nothing enjoyable when you have to save and reload every 15 seconds of gametime.

I don't think you're depressed.

I think you're fine and the world is Fup. You just came to realization when the rest of the population is the equivalent of toddles playing with their feces.

I was once the outcast enjoying computers and rpgs. Now videogames are mainstream and all of them became dull copy/pastas. No fun intended for the player. Just simulacrum of "challenge" for braindead apes.

Not a single game try to provide you fun nowadays.

Read the room bro. This is unwelcome. This thread isn't about how you hate the game.
