Character Customization is disappointing.

Am I the only one disappointed with it? All of that boasting and all of the advertising so focused on it and it feels lackluster. Sure theres a lot of options for hair and tattos/scars. Skin and eye color. But Did we need 8 different genital options? So little body choices. So little actual customization for the body type and they put so much focus on genitals but you all females have the same breast which I find to be a hilarious misstep. Obviously I am just picking here. But seriously, the actual customization options are lackluster at best.

Its not BAD by any means. But generally. I expected so much more with how much they hyped it up. Conan exiles has a better over all customization and thats pathetic.

Fully agree. For a RPG the character creator is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
No sliders and the face options don't look (in my opinion) very good. Also body shape sliders would have been a very fun thing e.g. for a fat barbarian.

Hopefully mods fix that or the devs read (lol, lmao even) this discussion.

But they are all below average or ugly so its actually impossible to make an attractive character

I hope you meant this sarcastically since the subjective valuation of beauty has nothing to do with racism. At least in a fantasy game the term racism has real meaning, since we are all the same race in the real world (♥♥♥♥ sapien). Bigotry, unfortunately, is real though.

Here is an easy way to improve cc with very little work and no negative impact to the cinematics. Take the two male body types and add breasts, and take the two female body types and remove the breasts. You can already change sex organs so everyone gets double the body choices (except Dragonborn) and the bodies already work in cinematic scenes so don't try to tell me chest flesh is going to ruin the system.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the origin characters and some characters in the game itself got some A+ vocal talent in the budget, but would be nice for the custom characters to have more options for really different and/or distinct voices. Not being able to have an option for a gruff voice for a Half-Orc or Dragonborn is a bit odd.

I feel they really neglected the choices in faces and voices. I don't mind pre-set faces but at least give 20+ options then. What is more important than a chars face? Not a dong certainly. Or a piercing. Or a pierced dong.

without mods this game would be ♥♥♥♥ tbh.
