I just checked the content of the Deluxe and Collector Edition and saw this item "Mask of the Shapeshifter", the description says that you can change with it your stats anytime and anywhere. To me this sounds a bit much.

Do 60€ payers have no access to such stuff and are forced to use stuff like console or cheatengine for the same result? Items like this should be in the normal version to.

you get the deluxe if you buy the game before it comes out everyone whos got the early access will get "upgraded" to the deluxe

...and thank god for that - should everyone just sit and reroll for a perfect 120 total roll for 5 hrs like in BG1?

unless you are the serious kind of person that sticks with the first roll your char gets, this is nothing to complain about. assign your stats whichever way you want.

(also: you will be able to respec to)

i give it about one week before either someone makes a mod that lets you outright roll stats or someone makes a mod that lets you put what ever you want in the stats. In the later case all you need is a couple of dice and just roll on your desk.

someone's an moron. The Mask of the Shapeshifter doesn't let you change your stats, all it does is shapeshift you to another race until you either cancel the effect or take the mask off. it's part of the Divinity Original Sin 2 pack that basically everyone at this point is getting, since EVERYONE who bought the game in early access is automatically bumped to the Deluxe Edition.

Stat rolling and staying with the first roll is pure randomness. I wouldn't call such people "serious"... more like "chaotic neutral" lol

In DOS2 this Mask was essentially the Disguise Self spell in BG3.
I have no reason to believe it'll be any different than letting you cast Disguise Self.

Only rumors have said "It let's you fully respec!"
