Not even specifically about Larian, BG3 or because I would allegedly be a biased fanboi of either of them.
But the simple fact that the extreme corporate greed has completely ruined the video game development industry and then it's so nice to see a developer who goes against all that, without thinking about how they can add as many holes into the game possible to suck every penny out of their players (or because shareholders tell them), but actually cares about making FUN games and refuses to release them until they consider them ready to be released.
Don't forget where Larian Studios came from:
They made Divine Divinity 2 (not DOS2) and their publisher at the time made them make it an action game (when DD1 and DDB were isometric RPGs) and rush it into release, which was a disaster and almost bankrupted them.
They BREACHED contract with the publisher and almost went bankrupt, because they were completely distraught by what happened and they didn't wanna be told anymore how to make their games, went into crowdfunding for DOS1, with the intent to self-publish, taking huge risks and if that had failed, they wouldn't have existed anymore today.
And because they actually care about making their games good, as opposed to milking every single penny out of it, it was a huge success.
Even if DOS1, DOS2, BG3 aren't your type of game or genre, you can't deny that they really go out of their way to make games to be GOOD and FUN.
And you can only have respect for that in the current state of the video game development industry.
I watched a lot of his videos, and he is right about most of the things he is talking about, as well as being very intelligent.
Your attack, in comparison, tells a lot about you: a low afford attack at a very successful person who is rich AND lives his life the way he wants, without catering to other's wishes or ideas. I can say that you probably care about what people think about you very much, which is why you get angry about people like Asmon. Insecurity is a b**&$.
Almost as funny as the time DSP didn't realize his stream was live and broadcast himself beating his meat.
Or was that some other pasty looking Jesus wannabe?
