Running 1440p with a 2080ti Undervolted. I've put a hard cap in NVCP of 60 fps per eye. I say per eye because I am playing the game in sterescopic 3D and I suspect I will probably be one of the only ones doing so.

Game runs relatively hot around 80c but if I just place back in 2D it peaks around 70c

HWInfo from last play session, on a 3090, 4k, locked 60 fps:

GPU Temperature 77,7 C
GPU Hot Spot Temperature 90,8 C
GPU Memory Junction Max Temperature 92 C

Within recommended temps.
kinda hot

That’s not hot, I’m running a 3070 and itl easily hit 83c with a hotspot of 107c, had to limit the max temp on the card to keep it cool
funny thing is tech guy be like - alarm alarm go to my office soon we gonna change thermal paste and pads for you fast!))

and also previously i got like 66 and hot spot like 79 almost in any game, and after this month which is july (well ok previous one) i now have 69 and 86

difference between regular and hotspot is 18 so its not quite normal as far as i understand

so i think its better to just take pc around the corner and fix this thermal pads or paste problem

overall i clean my pc every month, but obviously im not a tech guy - cant open gpu myself to change thermal paste

but you right i see a lot of people dont even bother and just live with 107 degree on hotspot and its not like they gpu broke or something, but i just dont want to take the risk

new gpu will cost fortune tbh
Yeah I’d be bothered by it, however I’m soon upgrading my entire system up to an i9 and 4090, so I just limited my card so it can’t go over 80c and it worked pretty well

native 4K max settings at 120fps with a 4090. Temps sit right around 60C
well i asked about hot spot and regular temp but ofc you can see it only in cpuid hwmonitor or else like aida64 and others
That is the hot spot. Sits right around 60C in the most demanding areas so far. Most of the time it's ~55C
