It is tricky and you need to pass a 16 DEX check.
Basically you want to create an artifical cloud conflict and then "overwrite" the content of the cloud storage for the game with a blank slate, resulting in deletion of the cloud saves for this specific game.
I have written a guide for a different game - see last chapter
Extra: Steam Cloud Storage Cleanup

if you exchange the information about the save game path with BG3's actual save game path, you can apply the same for this too. You just need to figure out your save game path.
It is tricky, often not worth it. But sounds like you have one of those rare cases in which it makes sense to use that process. But consider and check again, whether you really cannot delete those old files via the game menu. That would be the preferred way to deal with it, having the cloud files deleted properly rather than tricking the system.
True, true.
So what? I just gift you 1.6GB until I'm done playing and delete this game forever?
♥♥♥♥.
It's not. And that's not how the Steam Cloud toggle works AT ALL.
I am confident in my statement that I call you to prove it.
Don't you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ try to gaslight me, think I was born yesterday?
I thought they say its like a complete new game, thats why the EA version cannot patched to the final version. You think the savegames of the EA version will still be recovered with the launch of the final version?
That entirely depends on how the developers have coded their saving mechanism.
I have seen it either way for different games. Some do it good. Others not so. And I am thinking of recent game releases while writing that.
That said, unless they really messed up and their existence alone crashes the game (unlikely), you probably don't really need to delete them, just don't try to load them up after release.
I want my hard drive space back.
This is essentially a virus.
Instead of asking random strangers and reacting to people who do not know, how about consulting Larian Support directly? It might as well something they have yet to address if it is as bad as your case. I for instance have no imagination why there should be two cloud services in action as you described it. Hence I can only give advice in regards of Steam Cloud.
