But if you piss them enough enough they,ll warn you. Keep annoying them after that and they eventually leave.
Imagine an evil character going "Did I just see you rescuing that cat from a tree?! That is unacceptable! Change your ways!"
I know good characters leave if you do evil things. I know you can kill characters. However I can't speak to staying strictly to a Lawful Good alignment track since there is no way to track that in game... I am more a Chaotic Neutral man myself.
I will say that you learn a lot more about your party, what the Artifact is, people's backstories if you ride just slightly on the good side of the evil line for alignment. I got a lot more information about both the Origin characters you mentioned that way and a lot more dialogue options.
If I was to suggest anything, I would say get the Disguise Self spell on a character and swap to drow or duergar when you are near evil NPCs and be yourself near others and you will see a dramatic difference and new dialogue options that will reveal new things in game. It made all the difference on some of my playthroughs during my 200 hours of Early Access game time.
Also interacting with the Origin characters during long rest periods or playing as them when you interact with certain objects or having specific combinations of them in your party during certain events... All of these have an effect on what you get on screen. Astarion in particular will reveal quite a bit of his backstory and "what he is" with interactions when long resting in camp. Patience.
