But I feel like this one's done a good job of catering to all types of character builds, even low charisma ones. You'll probably see things that a high charisma player wouldn't (and likewise they things that you as a low charisma player wouldn't).
Big downside is 8 str, which affects your shove, carry weight and jump distance. Also missing out on 14 con. The optimal monk would be 14+2 dex 15+1 wis 14 con 12 str 8 int cha
Plus, for some conversations, it could be that using an origin character will get you a special variation that Tav can't get.
Also, it's pretty fun to fail.
I find it super weird to use a companion for dialog checks. Like, hey Wyll handle the goblins and be super nice and good to them, because you have no choice.
