Pause Cutscenes

Hi. It's been 3 years since I played EA so I can't remember and searching forums didn't really give me an answer.

Is there a way to pause cutscenes? So I don't have to tell my wife "Can you wait a minute" cause I can't pause a game? This has potential for... consequences. Not the type Larian intended.

Nice to hear that pressing escape is working properly to pause now. Does that work to properly pause everything happening in real time, too? It hadn't worked properly when I had tried using it earlier.

Even the mod communities have found it impossible to provide proper pausing options for these titles. Anyhow, there are external hacking utilities, such as Game Pauser by Jase (free on Steam) that seem to work for this purpose.

I have small children, Skipped the intro sequence accidentially because baby started crying. This is extremly frustrating.

This is misinformation. ESC SKIPS cutscenes, it does not pause them.

Glad I tested the ESC at the very start, best thing I could do was quit out at the character creation to restart, as only a minute in.
