Is there cooking in this game?

I think cooking is good for immersion.

not quite but there is camping which involves picking out supplies to use, and unique dialogues/scenarios which only play out when you set up camp to rest

Does cooking drugs and lethal toxins count? We get access to alchemy which is the closest you get to traditional crafting, and you can commission tradeskill NPCs (or interact with special locations) in a way that's similar to crafting but you're not the one technically doing the work, but that's about it

I played Zelda a lot lately, I really like cooking in games now.

There were no cooking in previous BG Games, still...would have been nice addition.

Maybe a Mod can add food with Buff to them or something.

With all of the hunks of meat scattered throughout the first handful of zones, I don't doubt for a moment that some of our crafting options will include increasing the quality of the raw food to stretch it further for resting. It's gotta, otherwise it really is a missed opportunity.

I remember them saying you can collect plants to make potions and poisons and such, but no actual food cooking that i heard.
