Will Boo go for the eyes in BG3?

I always wanted to see the hamster in action but in BG2 Minsc kept him out of battle.

Will Bu be a mini companion this time or end up again imprisoned in Minsc's pocket?

At the very least Minsc should have a unique ability "Go for the eyes" that causes Boo dealing undodgeable, unblockable and unsaveable damage plus permanent blindness 3 times per day with recharge after short or long rest.

Still Boo SHOULD be available to interact in camp. We can pet dogs and owlbears but not THE Space Hamster Boo?!
