not sure your concern from "that other game(out of thousands this is nothing)" but its D&D game, so turn based.
It's never been real-time. The game use to let you move while idling/waiting for your turn, but your actions/attacks always waited [n] seconds between rounds. In ~RT mode, your characters mostly stand there doing nothing until the next ~tick, at least in TB mode they feel more competent.
this isn't D&D Chronicles of Mystara which is a beat em up, this is the official 5e D&D game.
Nah. BG 1&2 should have been turn based. BG3 is a true BG game.
Got me there, Grim Dawn is the only one of those type I actually like.
This is Dungeons and Dragons. Turn Based is the way the rules were made.
